A brand best known for its range of aviation timepieces diversifies into sports watches with the Bremont England Rugby Collection.
Introducing the Bremont England Rugby Collection
Bremont has announced it is to be the Official Timekeeper to both England Rugby and Twickenham Stadium. Bremont intends to produce a series of special edition mechanical chronometers aimed at both fans and players through the new partnership. The first two watches have been announced, and although they do not represent a wild departure from the much-loved Bremont style, they certainly look the part.
Bremont RFU 150

The first watch, the Bremont RFU 150, is perhaps the least “Bremont” watch of the two. Instead of the famous twin-dial chronograph that comes to mind when thinking of the brand, the brand has produced a GMT diver’s watch. The Bremont RFU 150 commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) in a Limited Edition of just 150 pieces. The Bremont RFU 150 features a chronometer grade movement with 24h GMT hand, as well as Bremont’s patented protective anti-shock movement mount.

Bremont Rose

A more traditional watch but by no means old fashioned, the Bremont Rose is the first of the brands’ watches to have “England” on the dial rather than “London”.  The brushed steel chronograph features two sub-dials embossed with the England Rose, combined with blued steel hands and a contrasting red chronograph second hand in a nod to St George’s Cross. Ont he back, the words ‘swing low’ are engraved, after the Twickenham anthem, and the custom rotor has an engraving of the England Rose. The watch comes in a special leather wallet with blue and red stitch also featuring an embossing of the rose.
