Our last review of an Aquatico watch was back in 2019 – now they’re back with the Aquatico Super Marine Dive Watch.
First Impressions: Aquatico Super Marine Dive Watch
Aquatico make budget dive watches with a lot of bang for their buck. Despite some QC issues, I did like their Sea Star watch when I reviewed it. Their latest model, the Super Marine, brings together traditional watchmaking with modern elements. Classic style hands and indices are combined with intense colours, satin-finished surfaces and a high-quality Vulcanized Rubber strap. At its heart is either a Swiss Sellita or HKPT movement.
The vintage-style case oozes 1970s-chic and keeps the watch looking thin, despite its extreme 1000m water resistance (with a helium release valve on the side of the case at 8 O’clock should you wish to take it deep sea diving). The dial is clean and easy to read, with a ceramic bezel being a welcome upgrade from the steel bezel of the Sea Star. Ceramic is hard-wearing, the colour won’t fade and it is virtually scratchproof.
There are three dial colours to choose from, with black or blue rubber straps. I’m particularly taken by the full-lume dial option which will look amazing in low light conditions.

Buy an Aquatico Super Marine
The Aquatico Super Marine is a limited edition of just 150 pieces. Given that, and the high-end movement, I was expecting a higher price, but you can preorder an Aquatico Super Marine watch for just £379 (at the current exchange rate, with the P5000 movement). The Swiss movement option will set you back a little more – but at £545 it compares well with the likes of Christopher Ward.
What’s more, if you use our link to shop for an Aquatico watch and discount code HKD20 then you can take another 20% off that price!
