Eldon Watches Slimline Collection

We are really starting to enjoy the range of watches launching on Kickstarter. It seems like the crowdfunding platform is opening up a gap in the market for affordable, well-designed timepieces, and we are always pleased to see new watches at sensible prices. The latest microbrand to send us details of their project is Eldon Watches, who are launching a new slimline collection. We’ve seen a couple of brands launching a customisable range – with Undone being probably the most successful so far with a chronograph and diver option. We also covered the customisable watches from Horae earlier this year: Can Eldon Watches challenge them with their Slimline dress watch collection?

Eldon Watches Launches Slimline Watch Collection

The new Slimline collection from Eldon Watches launches on Kickstarter today. After a successful first project in 2016, they have returned to the crowdfunding platform with a new design. They say that the Slimline watches are designed with simplicity and style in mind, with a focus on smart dress design. Each element of the watch is 40% thinner than the first generation of Eldon Watches. The company is hoping to raise over £5,000 of funding for its new Slimline Modular Watch collection which will again allow users to interchange every aspect of their watches design including the case, face, bezel and strap.

The company founder Elliott Haydon says “We’re very grateful to our initial backers who helped us launch our original collection in 2016. Now we want to give back and say thanks, so we’re launching our new Slimline collection through Kickstarter again to give our backers, customers and fans the chance to get a 50% discount off the future RRP.͟ The Slimline collection will be available to backers through various Kickstarter rewards. Where you will be able to pledge for anything from a single watch (made to your own specification) to the complete collection of 24 components”
